In 2009, our Agogo Omanhene, Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong, spoke candidly and openly, as a guest of commentator Sally Ranney, on the program A Matter of Degree Media; discussing what is happening in the Agogo Traditional Area and Ghana as a whole country, because of destruction of forests by foreign businesses.
On Wednesday, 6 June 2021, was held the Enstoolment of Nana Amoako Yiadom Gyata, where the Swearing of Oath was done to Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong, Paramount Chief of the Agogo Traditional Area.​
