In 2009, our Agogo Omanhene, Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong, spoke candidly and openly, as a guest of commentator Sally Ranney, on the program A Matter of Degree Media; discussing what is happening in the Agogo Traditional Area and Ghana as a whole country, because of destruction of forests by foreign businesses.
On Wednesday, 6 June 2021, was held the Enstoolment of Nana Amoako Yiadom Gyata, where the Swearing of Oath was done to Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong, Paramount Chief of the Agogo Traditional Area.
Nana Amoako Yiadom Gyata (privately known as Dr. William Harrison), holds the office Frihankrahene of the Agogo Traditional Area.
